What the App does with your information and with the information of the people you write down.

Your profile, your ten with their notes, the presentations you record and your progress in Discipleship. It is kept on this phone and, with your email as the key, in a private backup, so you see the same thing on your tablet and your computer.
Their names, their contacts and your notes about them are saved because they are yours and you need them on all your devices. They are never published, never shared with anyone, and never used for anything else. No one at the ministry receives them or looks at them.
When you fill in your profile, your country counts on the Planters map. The map says how many there are in each country, never who. Your name appears nowhere, inside the App or outside it.
You only receive emails if you tick the newsletter box in your profile. You can stop them whenever you want: by unticking that box, or with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email. Being on the map and receiving emails are two different things.
Your backup opens with your email, no password. That keeps the App easy to use, with nothing to remember. In exchange, someone who knows your email could open it from another copy of the App. No one else: not the ministry, not the person who built the App, and no one who does not know your email.
In your profile, “Delete my data” erases your backup, takes you off the map, and erases everything on this phone. Nothing is left, and it cannot be undone.

SimplePlan4 has no servers of its own. It relies on four well-known services, and each one sees only what it needs for its part:
Each of them has its own privacy rules, published on its own site.
We do not sell or rent your data to anyone. There is no advertising inside the App or on this page. There is no audience measurement, no trackers, no tracking cookies: nobody is counting where you browse. And there is no panel from which the ministry could read your notes or the names of your ten.
Your data is kept for as long as you want it. There is no automatic deletion after so many months, because your ten are a whole year's work. When you ask for it to be deleted, as explained above, everything goes and it cannot be undone.
SimplePlan4 is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly ask them for data. If you learn that a minor has registered data, write to us and we will delete it.
Any change is published right here, with its date at the top. If something fundamental ever changed —what is stored or who sees it— it will also be announced inside the App.
